Painting Homes With the Heart of a Lion

When it comes to your home, you want people who actually know what they’re doing. That’s just common sense.
At Paint Lions, we’re kind of obsessed with painting, honestly. Every job we take on? We treat it like it matters. Because it does. Our team has been doing residential work for years now, we’ve seen pretty much everything at this point.
Here’s the thing though. We don’t just show up and slap paint on walls. That’s not how we work. We actually take time to look at your space, figure out what style you’re going for, help you pick colours that make sense for your home. Your house has its own vibe, and we get that.
That’s us. Keeping real craftsmanship alive.

FAQs

Yes, we can. Ideally, we would prefer spraying, and if that’s not an option, then we will roll the paint on. If the popcorn ceiling has been previously painted, we will use regular ceiling paint. However, if it hasn’t been painted before, we prime it first with an oil-based primer.

Priming previously painted walls is not always necessary. However, there are specific situations where applying a primer can be beneficial such as:

  • Drastic colour changes
  • Stains or odours
  • Extensive surface repairs needed
  • Glossy surfaces
  • Switching to a different type of paint

If we are simply refreshing walls with the same colour, one coat is usually enough. However, when making colour changes, we usually apply a minimum of two coats to cover the old colour.

Of course, we can install drywall, tape it and prepare it for interior painting.
